Hospital Barn

At Hogendoorn Dairy we try to give our cows maximum comfort to increase their overall health and recovery.

Therefore, our hospital barn consists of:

• 1 maternity pen – for all calving cows that require special attention.
• Single 5 Herringbone Parlour – to milk fresh and sick cows.
• 1 large dry cow pen – for all the cows due to calving in the next couple of weeks.

All pens in the hospital barn are bedded with sand and deep straw for maximum cow comfort.
